A good friend of mine put together one of the gifting suites perused by some of pop culture’s most celebrated musicians during this past Grammy week. So I course checked out the scene with hopes of scoring some new Warmbats. (It is rainy season, after all.) While I was there, the Grammy-nominated songwriting and production duo Dre and Vidal (Andre Harris and Vidal Davis) showed up and cleaned house. During one of the five-minute breathing intervals they took between trying on designer jeans and sunglasses, they shared some music industry insight on their favorite new artists, emerging technologies, and the economy. Oh, they also had some fun exploring the contents of a little prize from heaven known as the Pleasure Chest.
